Did you know one of the biggest issues coming from ‘Lockdown’ and a continued and increased need to work from home in the current Covid climate is ‘Separation Anxiety’ and a lack of ‘Socialisation’ for young dogs.
Puppies in particular are suffering from the lack of getting to meet other suitable dogs to say ‘Hello’ to as they begin to experience the world from their young eyes! New owners are ‘scared’ or a little nervous to go over and allow their new young dog to say Hi and sniff.
Which is why here at Ipswich Dog Daycare Creche our ‘Puppy Socialisation Sessions’ are proving more popular, or should that be ‘PUPular’ than ever!
The sessions are for the morning only, where you drop your puppy or young dog with us at the creche, and then re-collect them at lunchtime. You need to register your dog first, and provide a copy of their vaccination card ( all dogs must be fully vaccinated to attend creche AND have Kennel Cough).
You will see a marked improvement in your dogs behaviour around other doggies once they start attending the sessions on a regular basis. We recommend that your dog comes along at least once or twice weekly in the beginning to get them used to coming away from their owners ( helps with the separation anxiety – they build confidence away from you!) and to learn appropriate play, manners and skills around other dogs.
The first 12 months of any young dogs life is SO important for socialising and teaching them life skills. We are here to help!
